Utilizing the Power of Plasma to Clean Pipette Tips
The TipChargerTM by IonField SystemsTM employs a unique and patented cleaning process for cleaning pipette tips specific to automated liquid handlers. The instrument generates room temperature, atmospheric pressure plasma to clean plastic and metal pipette tips and pin tools. The TipChargerTM is simple to use and operates passively, like a traditional tip wash station. The tips are lowered into the TipCharger cleaning station and plasma is aspirated and dispensed for approximately 15 to 30 seconds. The tips are removed and are ready for immediate re-use.
